Today, a team of experts including Vibeke Rasch, Anja Simonsen, Annemette Lykkebo, Soheir H. Ahmed, and PhD fellows Mohamed M. Abdilahi and Farduus Mohamed came together to train research assistants for the PhD program “Promoting Maternal and Reproductive Health in Somaliland.” This initiative is part of the Building Stronger Universities (BSU) IV project, funded by the Danida Fellowship Centre.
During the training session, the research assistants were equipped with essential knowledge about the project’s aims, methodology, data collection procedures and their roles. They also received in-depth guidance on their responsibilities and were introduced to the quantitative questionnaire tools that will be utilized in the research.
This collaborative effort signifies a significant step towards enhancing healthcare outcomes for women in Somaliland.
